How to make biodiesel
Making biodiesel requires a titration kit, several chemicals and storage tanks. You can manufacture it on a DIY (Do-it-Yourself) basis, but make sure you get specialist advice, as there are some safety aspects to consider. You will require protective clothing, chemical gloves and eye protection, a vegetable oil base is used to make the biodiesel, other materials include some alcohol (methanol) and a catalyst agent. Lye is commonly used as a catalyst. Storage containers will be required for mixing the ingredients. You can make biodiesel at home in small batches but you may consider buying a biodiesel processor which will enable you to simplify the process and manufacture larger batches.
