Commercial Energy Assessor

Level 3 - An assessor that carries out a survey and produces SBEM calculations (SBEM - Simplified Building Energy Model) to generate a Commercial EPC for existing property with Air Conditioning systems not exceeding 12Kw.

Level 4 - An assessor that carries out a survey and produces SBEM calculations (SBEM - Simplified Building Energy Model) to generate a Commercial EPC for existing property with Air Conditioning systems in excess of 12Kw load.

Level 5 - An assessor that carries out a survey and produces DSM calculations (DSM - Dynamic Simulation Model) to generate a Commercial EPC for existing property with Air Conditioning systems in excess of 12Kw load and the building is of complex design, scale and facilities outside the scope of Level 3 & 4.

Commercial Energy Assessors are required to produce alongside the EPC asset rating a full Recommendations Report, this report details specific recommendations to assist the asset owner to make an informed decision as to what areas of the building would benefit from energy efficiency measures.
