Home Inspectors are qualified to produce Home Condition Reports as part of the optional component of the Home Information Pack in England and Wales. The recognised qualification Diploma is DipHI. The Home Inspector is also accredited to carry out energy efficiency surveys for domestic dwellings including the issue of an EPC or Energy Performance Certificate.|
As mentioned previously a Home Condition Report (HCR) is not mandatory as part of placing a home on the market for sale, however having such a report may bring benefits to sellers and buyers in the market as the report offers a real insight into the condition of the property.
