Who can issue a Rental Property Energy Performance Certificate?
A qualified and accredited Domestic Energy Assessor DEA holding a Diploma (DipDEA).
A qualified and accredited Home Inspector holding a Diploma (DipHI).
A Domestic Energy Assessor or Home Inspector is not qualified to issue EPC's for Non-Domestic premises.
A Home Inspector is accredited to carry out energy efficiency surveys for a Rental EPC including the issue of an EPC or Energy Performance Certificate.
A Domestic Energy Assessor or DEA is also authorised to issue an Rental EPC or Energy Performance Certificate.
