About Residential Energy Performance Certificates
Residential EPC's are now a mandatory requirement when a property is placed on the market for sale, or lease (letting). An energy rating will be provided in the report, this EPC rating is dependant on several factors, most notably the building construction and type of heating and renewable energy, or energy saving devices present.
All Residential Property requires an Energy Certificate including homes for let and homes for sale.
All property will be affected by the new energy efficiency measures introduced by the EU for (Residential EPC's) this includes all dwellings for sale or let, although there are some exemptions particulary for Landlords with property which have shared communal facilities.
