Hot Water Solar Cylinders

Solar Cylinder Types

An un-vented cylinder should be used for areas requiring a flexible mains water pressure hot water supply and is to be distributed to several outlets in the property. No cold water tank is required with this system. Mains water feeds directly into the cylinder. Vented cylinder, has a cold water tank, usually an immersion heater is provided for backup.This type is the most common type of cylinder that is installed in the UK.
